First Dungeon Runs Completed!

On Thursday 23 June, some of us felt it was time to try ourselves out in a dungeon. Since we had two tanks (what luxury!), one healer (Oú – priest) and three DPS (Zodíac – lock, Riddle and Ernee – rogues), we decided to run it twice. The dungeon of choice: Deadmines.

I ran the first group on my paladin and Tieryn the second on hers. What can I say? We’re a paladin-lovin’ guild!

Now, my plan was to enter DM, shout PARANOOOOOOOOOOID!!!!! and collect as many mobs as possible and get our First Official Wipe out of the way. Of course, I hadn’t counted on the uberness of our DPS and especially our healer. Less than a minute later, they had set me straight.
We continued on and cleared the tunnels and when we got the room with the Foe Reaper 5000, I finally got to execute my plan: I pulled the whole room, including the boss and our first corpse run was a fact!

Obviously, I wasn’t in the second run, but from what I heard, they had an even easier time in there. Due to the level requirements, we didn’t get the Guild Achievement, but we didn’t care. Several people have since run dungeons together and, less than a week since starting the guild, we’re doing what we set out to do!

At the time of writing, we’ve earned three guild run achievements, for Ragefire Chasm, Shadowfang Keep and Deadmines, and we’re planning on getting the rest as well!During the Deadmines run, I was so excited I forgot to take screenies, so I’ll post one from our epic journey into Horde Territory to reach Ragefire Chasm instead.
